Knife set for Christmas
Man as a career chef i remember when Wusthof were a third of this price. Henckels and Wusthof were the gold standard back in the day in culinary school but that price is absolutely insane. As others have mentioned - a good start is Chef Knife, Boning Knife, Bread Knife, Petty/Pairing knife, Slicer, then from there it depends on what you cook a lot of. Im personally a fan of the Henckels Zwilling Pro line - similar if not better quality than this but the heel/bolster design makes it easier to sharpen If you PM me i can forward you a “buying guide” i wrote out for my brother who was in the same boat.

What is the best kitchen gadget under $100 that you own?
What knife brands/models would you recommend? I like my Ikea 365+ knife, but as a present thinking about Zwilling Pro Chefs knife

Henckels Kitchen Knives. I finally replaced my chef's knife and was very surprised in the difference.
I got a new Zwilling Pro chef's knife and I noticed jt is thinner and lighter than my old one, which was supposed to be identical.
