Let’s Talk Wirecutter: What Was Worth It and What Wasn’t?
I bought a Bissell spot clean pet pro a few months ago and I am fairly impressed with it. https://a.co/d/bCqnXep

Recs for handheld carpet cleaners?
I have a Bissell Spot Clean Pet Pro which is pretty good, although I have nothing to compare it to besides full size carpet cleaners. I watched a load of YouTube comparison videos and this one did well in all the tests. It has an attachment head which collects the dirty water so you don't have to clean the main tank out every time which is good. I squirt a spray carpet cleaner directly on the stain beforehand and just fill the machine with hot water instead of solution, as I only need a tiny bit at a time and if I leave solution in the machine it goes mouldy. My only criticism is that the standard issue brush head doesn't come apart for cleaning so mine is full of cat hair clumps and other grossness

Recs for handheld carpet cleaners?
I have a bissel spot clean pet pro and like it. I use it for carpets in the house and the car. But honestly any of bissel's portable carpet cleaners would work here. I used to have a little green and it worked great, and my spotbot was awesome. (LG was 20+ years old and the motor burned out and the spotbot I'm an idiot and didn't realize I could have replaced the hose when it cracked :( )
