What was the best purchase you made this year?
Not sure which one is best for me yet tbh as I love all of my recent purchases. Ankarsrum mixer Cuisinart 14cup fp Lodge 7 qt dutch oven Lodge 12 inch skillet Lodge pie pan Also got an enamel 7 qt lodge Dutch oven but I don’t think it’s gonna last for decades.

What’s a purchase that’s not fun, not flashy but now you swear by it?
A food processor. If you are even a mild at home cook, a food processor will save you weeks of your life. I bought a cuisinart 14 cup version circa 2010 and the only thing wrong with it was the fail safe mechanism to active the device in the top part of the canister broke maybe 7ish years ago. Replacement part was super easy to come by and cheap.

Recommendations for a good quality blender and food processor
To tell the truth, I rarely use the upright jar blender. Mostly i use an immersion blender. But I'm not a smoothie person. Get the 14 cup Cuisinart food processor. That's going to take most of the budget.
