Deodorant and self-cleaning products have become a sponsored hell scape. Fellow men, what do you use?
Old spice deodorant around the house, Degree UltraClear for when I go out. Both I buy from BJs wholesale when they're on sale with a coupon. Comes out much cheaper in the long run

For soap many of the products out there can't actually be called soap instead they are body wash or beauty bars. I really like Stirling Soap's bar soap and shampoo bars. By far the best thing I've ever used. The scents are solid but I really like how simple the ingredient lists are. For deodorant I like Degree Ultraclear

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a single "antiperspirant" deodorant without aluminum that actually...works as an antiperspirant. Bars that use baking soda or other starches only work until the material is fully saturated...which is pretty quickly in my experience. It might work for someone with very light perspiration, but definitely not for your average person doing any sort of manual labor. As far as I know, every company claiming to make an aluminum free, starch/baking soda free antiperspirant/deodorant has either stopped manufacture, or stopped their antiperspirant claims. Companies like HyperDri advertise their antiperspirants in this space, but are not actually a deodorant, rather they are basically OTC glycopyrrolate and is administered as a topical medication. Companies like Harry's and Lume *market* their deodorant as being aluminum free...but as soon as you look at their antiperspirant products...they are full of aluminum. If you are willing to set aside the Aluminum requirement, Degree UltraClear Black + White is by far the best deodorant/antiperspirant I've ever used.
