Safety razor for life?
To be honest, a Gillette Mach 3 is great if you clean it correctly. I don't live by the sea so I can't generalize but I clean my disposable heads after each use and dry them right away, and I can safely use them for 6 months at the least.

I upgraded to a safety razor 5 years ago because I was tired of expensive and wasteful razor heads. That being said, my Match 3 handle lasted 18 years, I still have it and it's functional, I just don't use it anymore.

Have the same free Mach 3 handle that they sent me in the mail when I was 16. Still use it everyday and I’m 40. Gillette has made plenty of money off me. Incredible marketing tbh. More companies should emulate by sending free stuff to get customers into the system

I use the Mach 3 and don't go through 5 blades the entire year. No I am not joking. How? Shave in the shower, with shaving cream. Always clean and dry the razor when done, they will last much longer than you imagine.
