Aeron Stool
When Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick designed the Aeron Chair (1994), they combined a deep knowledge of human-centered design with cutting-edge technology to create a chair unlike any other. In 2016, Don Chadwick evolved Aeron with 20 years’ research in the science of sitting, as well as advancements in materials. The result is the perfect blend of ergonomics and comfort. The Aeron Stool brings all these innovations to a height-adjustable ergonomic stool that’s the ideal partner for sit-to-stand desks, drafting tables, and a more active, dynamic workspace.

What is the best high-end home office chair?
I've been using Aeron chairs for over 25 years and like them a lot — the mesh is wonderful in our hot humid climate (and no A/C). But they're not for everybody; whatever you do, go to a showroom and spend some serious time in the chairs you're considering. Ideally, your dealer will have a generous return policy. I made the mistake of thinking that "bigger is better" when I got my first Aeron, and although it was very comfortable, I went down a size when I got my second and the fit was much better. A good friend switched from the Aeron to the Herman Miller Cosm and had this to say about it: "it's lovely. There's only one thing to adjust — the height. Everything else just adapts to your body. Definitely feels like the 'next generation of the Aeron'." And one of my bosses used a Steelcase Leap that he thought helped with his bad back. I don't think you could go wrong with any of these chairs.

What's are home office purchases you've made that have more than paid for themselves?
Four things for me: * Used Herman Miller Aeron office chair * Stand Up Desk * Ergonomic keyboard, mouse, and mouse pad * This really stupid "Upright" sensor that vibrates if I slouch (you wear it on the back of your neck)

Suggestions for a BIFL wheeled desk chair?
Herman Miller Aeron. Have mine for close to 20 years and still as comfortable as new and everything works.
