The Best and Most Comfortable Ergonomic Office Chair To Buy Now?
I’ve had Aeron, Steelcase Leap Worklounge, and a gesture without a headrest and one with. The gesture with headrest (with original fabric to help prevent slouching) is the clear winner for me.

Herman Miller or Steelcase office chair?
I love steelcase have a Gesture and Leap V2 both phenomenal

My local office supply store doesn't have Aerons. What are some other chairs that are just as good?
I've had a Herman Miller Aeron, Steelcase Leap v1, and Steelcase Gesture /w headrest. I think the Aeron is really overrated. People who have only had cheap chairs from Walmart think that you need the mesh bottom to prevent swamp ass, but any cloth bottom chair will accomplish that. The two Steelcase chairs I've had have been much comfier, especially the Gesture with headrest.

What are the best home office chairs under $1000?
Got my Steelcase Leap V2 refurbished for about $400.

What is the best high-end home office chair?
Herman Miller have a great returns policy (here in the UK at least) so you won’t get burned trying them. I didn’t get on with the Aeron’s plastic lip at the front of the seat base. I went for a used Steelcase Gesture from an office clearance website in the end.

PSA: Secretlab chairs are overpriced bullshit
Anyone spending a lot of time at a computer, should get a computer operator chair. The Aeron has been mentioned, but it doesn’t suit everyone (the bar across the front of the chair can be a bit uncomfortable). Definitely look at good office chair brands from an office clearance company. I went with a Steelcase Gesture and it’s amazing.

PSA: Secretlab chairs are overpriced bullshit
I prefer a steelcase leap or gesture to an aeron and you can get a used one for that or less. Try in person if you can.

PSA: Avoid Secretlab Chairs
Yup, had one at one point. Fell for all the fake reviews and articles. Bought a used Gesture and Leap, so much better quality.

New desk chair for extended sessions (<$300)
You will get a much better chair by buying a used high end chair than a new chair under $300.

Is $260 for this office chair worth the price?
all that and no words for the steelcase gesture? it's completely adjustable and I fidget with the arms all the time but no apparent wear.

I did that to my Steelcase Gesture as well.

Steelcase Gesture is a good option as the arms move around with a lot of range in every direction, allowing you to sit comfortably in a lot of positions.

Is $260 for this office chair worth the price?
> tuck your foot under your thigh This is the reason I didn't get an Aeron for home after using one at work, they are terribly uncomfortable if you like to sit like this at all, as the hard plastic rim of the seat lines up with your ankle in a bad way. I went with the Steelcase Gesture for home and prefer it much more. That said, the Aeron is still a great chair, too, and I continue to use it at work.

What chair should a women get who sits in the chair for hours
People like the Aeron, but it sort of forces you into one position. It doesn't really allow slouching. Also the front edge of the seat pan can dig into your thighs, right behind the knee. I got a Steelcase Gesture a few years ago, and it has changed my life. The recline goes way back. And the arms aren't just adjustable in height and extension, which is common, but also can swing in and out, so they can actually support your arms while you're typing. But when I was in law school and reading a lot, I often had to tilt my head and arm so I could highlight important passages, and AFAIK there's no solution for that. Periodic massages from a certified massage therapist helped. You might also check out massage guns, or special attachments for cordless jigsaws. Good luck!

What chair should a women get who sits in the chair for hours
I have a Steelcase Gesture, and there are other good suggestions in other comments, but the best recommendation I have is to test any chair before you buy it. The best test is at least 30 minutes doing the same sorts of things you do day to day. Measure your desk height to be sure that the chair is a suitable height to sit with your feet flat and your legs at 90ish degrees (or plan on a footrest), check to make sure the arms will play nice with your desk if that’s important to you (I need to scoot my chair all the way in when I’m not at my desk since it’s a small home office). Before I ordered my Gesture, I found a coworking space in my city that had the chair I was interested in, so I was able to try it out for longer than 5 minutes. That really helped me decide to move forward with a purchase that has served me very well. Seeing it in person also helped me decide what options I did and didn’t want.

Whats the best home office chair?
Ordered a refurbished leap V2 from Crandall furniture, should be coming in a few weeks. I hope it lives up to its hype, I’m on my 3rd different office chair and I can’t find one I like so I hope the leap ends my search lol. I do need to realize I’m coming from a large seat staples chair I’ve used for years and sat wrong so I’m going to have to force myself to have decent seat posture from here on out.

Anyone know of chair brands that are comfy & keep good posture?
If you want to narrow down which Steelcase chair might be a good match for you, we recommend taking a look at our chair quiz: [https://store.steelcase.com/find-your-chair?srsltid=AfmBOopLn1p3Hw2W2kX\_m9ZPAiPUZ3YZ9uCzh8xQeDHbEN6vAGNcRpUA](https://store.steelcase.com/find-your-chair?srsltid=AfmBOopLn1p3Hw2W2kX_m9ZPAiPUZ3YZ9uCzh8xQeDHbEN6vAGNcRpUA) Leap, Gesture and Karman are fan favorites, but it all depends on preference and how you'll be using the chair. Best reasonably priced big men's desk chair?
Agree, the leap v1 seems more solid. I have 2 of them, a leap v2 for my daughter, Herman miller embody for my son, and an Herman miler Aeron at work. I prefer the leap v1, even though they are all good.

Best reasonably priced big men's desk chair?
Second the leap. Maybe personal preference but I had a leap v1 at work that I loved and they swapped me out for a leap v2, which I do like but not as much as I liked the v1. I bought a refurbished leap v2 for home as well, which I found very lightly used on Facebook marketplace for a very reasonable price ($150 I believe). I like the leap v2, but I loved the leap v1, which to me was much more comfortable

How well does the leather on the Steelcase Leap V2 age with extended use?
Has this changed in recent years? I have a leather Leap Plus that has recently began peeling like bonded leather. I have a 14+ year old leather Leap V1 that's never had an issue.
