Markus Office Chair
Suitable for business use. The mesh material of the backrest lets air through to your back during long sitting periods. The chair cover is made from Vissle fabric in polyester, which is dope-dyed. It’s a durable material with a smooth weave and a nice two-tone effect. This ergonomic office chair has lots of functions that allow you to easily adapt the chair to your body. Lumbar support – Promotes good posture and reduces strain on lower back. Armrests – Support your forearms and reduce strain on the back and shoulders. Manual tilt tension – To adjust the resistance of the backrest. Synchronized tilt tension – Moves with you as you recline, opening the hips and torso to improve circulation and energy. Tilt Lock (3 positions) – Locks the chair at different angles for added stability and support. Adjustable seat height – Promotes good posture and reduces strain on lower back. Safety function – Casters lock when the chair is not in use to keep it securely in place.

The Best and Most Comfortable Ergonomic Office Chair To Buy Now?
Obviously, there are only two best chairs ever: the IKEA Markus if you’re not rich enough, or the Herman Miller Aeron if you’re almost rich.

Best Office Chairs Under $1000
I'm here about that Ikea Markus. I've been using mine for about 10 years and it has stood the test of time. It is also the most comfortable chair I've sat in, granted I haven't sat in most of the chairs listed above. The only indication of wear is that the pleather headrest has begun to chip (honestly surprised it's lasted this long). That can be easily replaced or re-conditioned. I think they make Markus chairs now that are cloth, so you can avoid the issue altogether.

Finding BIFL chair as a gift for my mom this Mother's day
Like an office chair? I'll go against the grain here and recommend the IKEA Markus. Won't break the bank, super comfortable and probably the most recommended ergonomic chair there is Honestly it fixed my back issues I was getting for about 2 years that I stupidly believed were being caused by lifting weights and not my bad previous chair

Looking for an office chair $400 and under
Ikea Markus is also going to be my recommendation, unless op can find a used Steelcase Leap that needs little or no work, or a good condition Embody or Aeron (depending on op's tastes) cheap enough to qualify. I have, however, been lusting after a [Hag Capisco](http://www.haginc.com/products/hag-capisco/), but you're not going to find those new under $800, unless you start looking at the Capisco Puls.

Looking for an office chair $400 and under
Was doubtful at first, but am overall very happy with my Ikea Markus after seeing a few people recommend them on here. And for well under the price of a leap or similar.
