what's the best electric toothbrush?
Philips One, in the AAA battery option. And I'm not new to this game; I've owned three large sonicare systems over the last decade or so. The P.One blows it away in a tiny size, crazy battery life (months!), and zero obsolescence because there's no soldered in LiOn battery that's degrading every charge until the entire system is junk (hello several $hundred dollar sonicare system that I've replaced every 3 years).

What was the best purchase you made this year?
Bought Philips One (single AAA battery) tooth brushes for the family several years ago. They're all still going strong, replaced the heads a couple times, and the batteries last months. It's sonic, just like sonicare. Also, because it doesn't have a soldered in LiOn battery, it doesn't degrade or lose charge with time. Pop a new AAA in and it's just as good as new. Definitely BIFL so far!

The Best Electric Toothbrush Currently?
The Phillips One Sonicare is cheap, compact. USB-C rechargeable, and does a good job on the chompers. I love mine.

The Best Electric Toothbrush Currently?
The best travel toothbrush I've used is the Philips One by Sonicare. It even comes with a travel case. They also can be purchased in either rechargeable or replaceable battery styles. Checks a lot of your boxes. Small/portable, affordable, compact/travel friendly, and definitely does a good job cleaning.

What's the best electric toothbrush money can buy with replaceable batteries and brush-heads?
You’re right, electric toothbrushes with replaceable batteries aren’t super common these days. Most brands are pushing built in rechargeable ones instead. From what I’ve seen the oral-b pro 100 and philips one by sonicare are decent budget options but they don’t have the same power as higher end models. If you’re open to rechargeable brushes, I came across a [discussion here](https://www.reddit.com/r/ApplianceAdvice/comments/1j37xwn/oral_b_sonicare_nah_this_electric_toothbrush_is/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) about a really nice alternative that a lot of people recommend- the aquasonic black series. Might be worth a look if battery swapping isn’t a dealbreaker for you!
