Android phones that can last a long time?
All of my Samsung phones have lasted years. Still using an S10+. Had an S4 before that and I can't remember the previous one to that......

Android phones that can last a long time?
Samsung Galaxy S series. Buy the flagships, they’re guaranteeing 7 years of software support for their flagship phones launched in 2024 or later (so S24 or above).

Android phones that can last a long time?
I have always bought one generation behind the current flagship, and they last for about 5 years. Concerns are always with security as older phones no longer get the updates. With each new phone, the older ones get downgraded. I just bought the s24, moved my s10 to my home automation hub, and the S6 is now my dedicated TV/firestick/Roku controller. I am going to baby the S6 because it is the last model with an IR blaster. Then it will be the S10 with an IR blaster plugged into the headphone jack, as the last Samsung flagship with a headphone jack.

I need to keep this phone for as long as possible!
I've got 4 solid years on my s21 5g and not a single problem. (Knocks on wood and says a dozen hail marys)

Scenario: You just bought a phone. Should you buy a replacement battery immediately, or wait the "x" amount of years for it to degrate and buy it then, risking no availability?
This just isn't true anymore. My S10+ was working totally fine even in intensive gaming, but I only replaced it because Samsung artificially stopped providing security updates. The S24 I have now has much more processing power and I don't see a good use for all of that except high power emulation. Which, if I want to play a PC game, I have a PC for. Easier to use keyboard.
