Savotta Jääkäri M Aluminium Frame This is effectively a downscaled version of the Jääkäri L frame, which was made for the Finnish Border Guard patrol pack in the late 1980s – proven and tested! All of the pack frames are made in Karstula, Finland. INSTALLATION Simply put the frame into the Jääkäri M framesheet compartment, with the plastic framesheet facing your back. You may also remove the framesheet, but be aware that angular things in your pack may poke you in the back from between the back pads if you do so. Of course, this is a problem that can be handled by packing wisely, which you should be doing anyway. That's it, your Jääkäri M is now spined and ready to carry even more stuff. Enjoy!
