The AIRBELT E3 Premium offers a parquet brush and a commercial-quality ET-1 electric power head. The three AIRBELT E models are powerful, ultra-quiet, mid-size canister vacuum cleaners with attractive curves and contours that feature three on-board attachments, a large .92-gallon bag, a generous 25-foot cord and 37-foot cleaning radius, protective rubber-coated wheels, a durable telescopic tube with quick-release connections, and a full bag or clog indicator. They also feature excellent filtration, a push-button cord rewinder, and a soft-foam bumper that protects the vacuum, furniture, and walls from scuffs and scratches. The E series offers two straight-suction models that provide a choice of cleaning heads. The AIRBELT E1 Kombi includes a combination nozzle with retractable bristles for use on rugs and hard floors, while the AIRBELT E2 Turbo includes an air-driven turbo head for rugs and a parquet brush for hard floors. Both models have a suction-control knob located on the canister body. The AIRBELT E3 Premium offers much more! In addition to a parquet brush, it includes the commercial-quality ET-1 electric power head that cleans both carpets and hard floors, has excellent pet hair removal, and the extension side of its L-shaped contour makes cleaning under counters easy. The power head also offers a super-low 3.5-inch horizontal cleaning profile, tool-free brush roller removal, and automatic shut off due to brush roller obstructions, while its tapered suction hose increases airflow velocity and decreases clogs. Foremost among its many features, the E3s dual-control handle provides unsurpassed user convenience with an integrated on/off switch for the brush roller, a slider switch that adjusts suction power, and it facilitates effortless control of the power heads 180 steering ability.

Agreed with miele. Miele C3 or Sebo K3 are legit options: https://smartvaluechoice.com/best-vacuums-that-actually-last-5-models-built-for-decades-of-use/

which cord vacuum has this sub deemed the best?
I have lots of new carpet and am amazed at what my Sebo E3 premium picks out of it. One thing I think people forget about with these vacuums, since I never see it mentioned - if you purchase in person (which you should for a Sebo as it increases the warranty) you can negotiate just like buying a car. I got a package of bags, the broom head and turbo head for me. One thing that people do not mention often about the Sebo is how quiet it is. It’s about 63 decibels in use at full blast. It can be even quieter on the lower suction settings.

Vacuum that won't conk out on me after 3 years
[Comparing Miele to Sebo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWy_jOoFIss) This brand comparison helped me to pick my Sebo K3 over Miele (and the Dyson stick vacs that we were initially contemplating).

What are some of the best products/brands you love splurging on?
Quality blender is up there for me too, I am a Blendtec guy but Blendec or Vitamix, either way, if you use a blender regularly it makes a huge difference. I also have the Dyson hair dryer, I got a deal on one of the refurbished models with a coupon, seemed like a ridiculous purchase but that thing is really good. Doubly ridiculous because I really only have a beard to blowdry but a damp neck is not a good thing if you didn't know. Since you mentioned Dyson - Their vacuums are pretty good but in the end I'm not a huge fan, I think bagless is inferior, but a great vacuum is a real convenience, not a fun one but it makes life easier. I recently bought a Sebo D4 and that thing is next-level. Zojirush water boiler/dispenser. I like electric kettles but in the USA with our 120VAC they're slow. The Zojirushi dispensers will hold water at 208º and they last forever. Older models had gaskets that required occasional replacement but they sell the parts, my current one with the double-wall design has been on pretty much for ten years straight except when I unplug it to go on vacation. Great convenience appliance for coffee and tea lovers, especially for someone who does a French press every morning. Great kitchen tools, knives, cookware, utensils. They're all just hunks of metal in the end so anything good quality is buy it for life. Apple electronics, although laptops, phones, etc. can't really be BIFL. Porsche car - Not necessarily the cheapest to keep for life but they claim 70% of the cars they've made are still on the road. Not brand-specific but decent home audio, especially a 5.1 or better surround setup for movie and TV. Even YouTube documentaries sound so much better, you get spoiled by great audio, I find even narration lacks impact and presence when I'm listening to a podcast through earbuds vs. watching on my surround system. And while audiophilia gets people spending ridiculous amounts of money with the proliferation of cheap consumer electronics the last few decades you don't have to spend much to get a way better experience. Bicycle stuff, but not really brand specific and I don't go as crazy as a lot of enthusiasts, but don't mind spending on good bikes, good gear and good accessories. Ekornes Stressless furniture - very comfortable to me, IMO even most expensive furniture isn't really comfortable or ergonomic, a lot of it is plush, superficially comfortable but not supportive and wrecks your neck and back if you spend a lot of time in it. Similarly, Herman Miller Aerons for office duty. Travelpro luggage - most of their lines aren't expensive enough to be a real splurge, but very nice and durable, way better than cheap luggage some of which seems to be single-use these days.

I own a Sebo K3 and the suction is equally awesome on hard floors as it is on carpet. Maybe take yours in for service/to be checked out?

If you filter by subreddits the sebo felix tops, followed by the sebo airbelt e3. Probably should have made an image with the r/buyitforlife filter applied, but you can play around with the filters here [https://redditrecs.com/vacuum-cleaner/](https://redditrecs.com/vacuum-cleaner/)

In between buying two vacuum cleaners- help me decide!
Have owned the C1 for about 8 years. Just recently relegated it to upstairs bedrooms and upgraded to a Sebo D4. Sebo for the win, and hardly a competition. Power head vs. Turbo Simple, no tools required head cleaning Way bigger bag Way longer cord 10 year warranty (you have to buy from a dealer)

Ask r/vacuumcleaners And imo both are excellent. But we can’t answer this for you. You should visit a dealer and test drive both. One is a canister style and one is an upright. It’s very much personal preference. Personally I’d also add a Sebo k3 to your shopping list.

Vacuum for home use - pls recommend
Budget is very important here, but highly recommend Sebo, Miele, or Henry. I recently got a Sebo E3 and it’s truly amazing (which is a word I never thought I’d use to describe a vacuum cleaner haha). Makes me really look forward to vacuuming!

Which Miele hoover is best for pets?
Miele is excellent (I own one). But if you have excessive hair. Buy a Sebo k3, e3 or d4 instead. The brushroll pops out in 2 seconds for easy cleaning. The Miele does not come out at all and you have to cut it with a knife/scissors.

Buy Once Cry Once items?
I love my D4. I also love how Sebo gives you an exploded assembly diagram with part numbers and will sell them to you directly.
