Stressless Mayfair Sizing for someone tall and skinny
It was terrible to be honest, I disagree with the person who gave me advice. Height is way more important than width, it was comically too small and I had to sell it immediately. Even the large Mayfair that I tried at the store was a bit too short so I found a large Reno and I absolutely love it. If you're tall, highly recommend one of the chairs like the Reno with adjustable height.

My first one I found at a consignment shop....it was a Reno with the fabric. We are vegetarian and so I figured this would be better (although only two out of our 5 are fabric). It was $450 and came with the laptop table still in the box! As you know, that table retails for $600. We have fun looking for used models...just yesterday we bought two for our house in Florida....one for the Lanai. At $200 I figure there is no problem if the humidity gets to it in a year or two. In the used market there are some resellers who want $1200 or so for chairs they likely purchased for $500. But if you have patience you can find one yourself for the lower price. The most we paid was $500 for a "as-new" Reno in black leather. The best price was $200 yesterday for a green Mayfair which works fine for the Lanai use but is not up to the same standards as the others. It's almost become a hobby in itself. I wanted another laptop table (we now have 2 of them). I finally found a woman in Maine who had parts of one for sale for $10. Yes, $10. - she had hoped for local PU and I was in FL, but I told her I would pay here an extra $20 plus any UPS fees.....so it cost me about $50 delivered. Stressless sent me the small missing parts for free. Oh, it's the good one....folks should not be fooled into buying the first model of the laptop table....learn the difference!

I own about 5 of them.....only the originals, and all purchased used for $200 to $500 each. Some even came with the Laptop tables! For us they are perfect and definitely worth the money. Would I buy a new one for 3K? No way. Would I buy a new design? Unlikely. Keep in mind we do have the $$ to buy them new if we wanted to. I'd somewhat trust those reviews...especially if they are on models which aren't the Classic designs. FYI, in terms of the simple manual chairs, the Reno is the ultimate in comfort. The strange looking styling is all functional.
