What’s the best beard trimmer if you want something that lasts long?
I use a whal 5 star senior. But I have the corded one because it has more power.

Long Lasting + Battery... probably not gonna happen... So if you go corded, Oster Classic 76 of Wahl % Star Senior, both will last a LONG time, have parts you can get, accessories, etc.

Hair clipper for home use (Men)
I know this is old, but Im gonna respond anyhow in case anybody else comes back to this thread. You're 100% correct as stuff is made SO cheap these days. When it comes to clippers though Ive been digging into this topic for a month as I like to buy the mest for longevity. The better professional Wahls are made for constant use for real barbers. Half of the stuff I've been reading the guys have their stuff for like 15 years before they need to change over the motor, and that's only sometimes. But everything in them most guulys could change out the parts themselves. Just as an example the Wahl Professional Senior is made for bulk removal. This would be especially good for somebody with African decent or any other ancestry with extremely thick hair as it's literally known to be able to crunch right through all hair types. You tend to get more accessories and options with the civilian market stuff, but the professional market stuff will last SO much longer, hence the price difference. I was actually thinking the Senior would be great for little kids hair, not because of how thick it is but rather because it's known to be able to cut with a single pass rather than numerous passes. Being that powerful though also means ot will be less forgiving. So if you make a mistake it's probably gonna be bad! Lol The back half of the body is also metal, so if you're accident prone like me it's a little more forgiving in that sense. Ya can buy em on ebay for a ton cheaper than regular store too. The blades on the professional models are also alot better than the cheap home use stuff. Which is why at the barbers they always seem to work better. It's like using a high end knife vs a dollar store one, it's gonna cut 1000 times better and will last longer.

Smooth Beard Trimmer BIFL
Wahl 5 star Senior or Oster Classic 76, Wahl has a few longer guards (10 or even 12) that I have not been able to find for the Oster, so if you want to run a guard that long, the Wahl is the pick. But the blades are much easier to deal with on the Oster. I actually think the Oster is a tad more powerful and takes less passes, but I have both and have been extremely happy with both of them.

Which clippers should I buy? Not going over $200. Also doesnt have to be one of these but these are the two I’m considering
As a barber, I highly recommend getting a corded model. Wahl senior would be my pick. The magic clip is great, but they usually only last about a year. Also, if you take care of them, they will last forever.

Need a good beard trimmer and a great nose/ear trimmer. Help!
for Beard you want corded. I like the Oster Classic 76 or Wahl Senior 5 Star (you can get longer guards for the Wahl they have a #12) I have the Wahl Stainless Lithium-Ion 2.0 Cordless Rechargeable for nose, ear, etc. It has worked and worked for I think 4 years at this point. It is solid, the attachments are good and easy to get, I can solidly recommend it.
