Try the GEL-KAYANO 32 shoe if you want a plush, comfortable daily trainer with adaptive stability in every step. The GEL-KAYANO 32 shoe has earned the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance. This means it was carefully evaluated by a committee of podiatrists to ensure that it promotes good foot health.

Need comfortable shoes to help with foot pain.
PSW (similar to CNA in the US) and I work 16hr shifts regularly. These are 25k step shifts. And I'm a little on the chunky side 😉 Definitely go to a podiatrist to get a diagnosis or eliminate potential problems. Here in Ontario Canada a podiatrist is under $100 for the initial visit. It could just be your weight but it also might not be. It would make sense to rule out some problems before dumping money on a good pair of shoes that might not be right for you if you were given a diagnosis. Another suggestion is to wear compression socks, the lightest compression is a great place to start and you can buy them fairly affordable ($20-$30pr) on Amazon. The majority of my healthcare peers swear by them - they were life changing for me. Once you get into shoes, most brands have different cushion levels but you'll probably want something like New Balance 1080s or the Asics gel Kayano. I wear the Asics and I don't find them all that slip resistant when I'm in the kitchen. My mom worked at McDonald's when I was a kid and I remember the floors being especially greasy so keep that in mind when you're buying shoes too.

Best womens running shoes/sneakers please?
is this more for everyday wear or are you mainly after hiking/gym shoes if you don’t mind me asking? if it’s the latter, then yeah, some brands should be holding up way better for what you’re paying. I’ll give you some decent options of what you could go with since I’m not totally sure what your budget is here: thinking $70 100 range here (not bargain bin cheap but also not how did I just spend $200 on sneakers?) first recc here would be Asics Gel Kayano: they’re stable and they last ages before the sole gives out. not too flexible. do give it a try first at a store to see if they feel comfortable or not. then the New Balance Fresh Foam: roomy toe box & cushy midsole. can feel bulky if you’re not used to that much foam tho so idk if it would be a big deal for u or not. not to forget the NORTIV 8: lightweight and the outsole grip is solid enough for light hiking or trail walking. not as plush as high end running shoes. i’ll leave [a link here](https://grassrouteguide.com/dp-B0DCBTJYHJD) so you know which ones im talking about. also do check the size chart carefully[. ](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DCBTJYHJ)

Best Performance Lifestyle shoes?
If you like the 990v5s but want extra cushion, I’d suggest the 990v6. More modern foam, great durability and style (imo). You can find them below retail at Nordstrom Rack or Joe’s NB Outlet. If you’re wanting a true running shoe, I’d suggest trying some out in person, in particular: - Nike Pegasus — good outsole durability - ASICS Gel Kayano - ASICS gel Nimbus - HOKA Bondi 10 - New Balance 880v15
