Kids shoes - help with a shoe that has a durable toe.
I buy my kids the Nike air zoom Pegasus - they last forever and my kids comfortably run around all over in them. I was even able to pass one pair down to the younger kid after at least a year of use

Best Performance Lifestyle shoes?
If you like the 990v5s but want extra cushion, I’d suggest the 990v6. More modern foam, great durability and style (imo). You can find them below retail at Nordstrom Rack or Joe’s NB Outlet. If you’re wanting a true running shoe, I’d suggest trying some out in person, in particular: - Nike Pegasus — good outsole durability - ASICS Gel Kayano - ASICS gel Nimbus - HOKA Bondi 10 - New Balance 880v15

Ever Bought Something That Quietly Changed You?
I got Nike Pegasus 41 and NB 1080v13! I prefer the Nike's as the are more stable but the NB are great for running.

Looking for durable mens shoes
When I worked at Nike we would all choose the pegasus for our free shoes, they did well standing on the concrete floors all day - important to note I may be biased because of that lol

Looking for durable mens shoes
Are you looking for a canvas sneaker or an athletic shoe? Either way, shoes with foam soles aren’t really BIFL unless you’re very light and very easy on shoes. I would expect a pair of nike pegasus to last you a good year or two if you have completely normal feet with no issues to speak of. I may get crucified for saying N*ke but they are good shoes, but only if you pony up for the mainline stuff. There are likely better brands that I am ignorant to, but I like the Nike Goretex stuff as it’s very durable in my experience.
