Good sling bags for men?
I've been using the osprey daylight for a few years (the older 6L), has held up well. Size has worked well for me, I found when I had a bigger bag/sling I'd end up carrying more stuff and making it too heavy. But it's big enough to put like a water bottle in as needed - some of the smaller 2-3L bags felt stuffed. But very much personal use case

Didn’t realize how attached I was to my old backpack until it finally started falling apart
I feel this. I have a northface borealis backpack. When I went to the store to pick up a new one, the quality just isn't the same. It feels cheaply made and that it wouldn't hold up. Mine is still going strong. I did recently buy the osprey daylite backpack and really like it.

Looking for new backpack to replace Osprey Nova
Why not the Osprey daylite backpack? I have the plus version because I take my tablet and extra clothes plus shoes to work. I would travel with it.

Osprey never stops being amazing.
What a warranty? Or an Osprey. Backpack? Why do you ask? I own a daylite backpack i take on every hike with me ifnthats what youre asking. I like Osprey. I just don't think posts about warranty replacements fit the mission of "buy it for life".

I recently got a $60 amazon gift card, what would be a good comfy backpack in that price range that *isn't* Jansport?
I’m not sure what you're looking for exactly or if this style fits your needs, but I have two Osprey backpacks and I absolutely love them. The Daylite and Daylite Plus are great options—you can usually find them on Amazon for around $60.
