The Best Backpacks for Travel Available Now?
I prefer backpacks with more of an open space vs tons of pockets and tiny organization spots that will rarely get used. I have used my Fjallraven Kanken 15 Laptop bag from everything from a carry-on/personal bag, school bag, and now taking all my crap to work. Make sure to get the laptop model because they’re bigger and have padded straps.

What's a high quality BIFL that you carry with you every day and can't leave home without it.
* Fjallraven bag - If I'm not bringing much, I grab my Ulvo Hip Bag. If I'll be out all day, I'll pack my Kanken. * Klean Kanteen water bottle - I usually bring a pair of 20 oz bottles with me. I'd rather pack two than deal with drinking out of one giant bottle. * Paperkrane shoes - I'm a big fan of their leather Chelsea boots for everyday wear. I've cycled between three pairs of them for the past 4ish years, and they still look brand new when they're cleaned up. The color I wear most often will probably need to be resoled in 2027.

Aesthetic backpacks with a laptop sleeve on the back?
Depends if you like the style, but the Fjallraven Kanken laptop backpack has a separate, padded laptop compartment at the back, the material is thin so I imagine it would allow pins to be put through, and it comes in a variety of colours. I have a grey one and it has lasted for years.

Can't decide on a backpack
Eastpak Padded Pakr or Wyoming. I got my first one in 1999 and used it for 20 Years, then I had Fjallraven Kanken and now I have a Wyoming and I think it will last until 2045.
