I’m a fan of this parka. https://www.fjallraven.com/us/en-us/men/jackets/parkas/nuuk-parka-m2/

Need a Winter Coat That's Good in Snow/Rain/Sleet in sub zero temperatures
I found an original (before they changed the sizing) Fjallraven Nuuk with tags on ebay. It's definitely for life! And so warm I'm driving with windows cracked in the snow.

Need a Winter Coat That's Good in Snow/Rain/Sleet in sub zero temperatures
I suggest a down parka with a waterproof shell. So Patagonia Downdrift/Jackson Glacier or Fjallraven Nuuk/Singi. Those are all solid, my go-to in this category is the last generation Patagonia Downdrift Parka, 600FP and pretty beefy shell material with DWR. Try them all and get the one that fits with your layers the best.

Looking for a durable, long-term winter coat
Something like the Fjallraven Nuuk Parka 🙂

Suggestions for a winter coat with high, tight (or adjustable) collar?
Look at something like the Fjallraven Nuuk. Or any other jackets they have. Many of them go high on the neck and I find it tight but not uncomfortable. Does really good job not letting wind in.

Warmest women's jacket?
I have the Fjlraven Nuuk Parka. It is warm and well made. It’s also heavy. The sizing is a big strange and I would recommend trying them on first. I read to size up so I did, but I wish I would have tried on the other size. It holds up in weather really well. You still need some layers, like all jackets. It’s not an ugly jacket, but it’s more utility than fashion. It does have a lot of pockets. I love this jacket but If she’s not moving a lot she would probably be happier with a parka.

Warmest women's jacket?
I have the male Nuuk parka and it’s been a literal lifesaver in Canadian winters (down to -40). Highly recommend.

Warmest women's jacket?
Like to her knees maybe? I'm not 100% sure. They also have some down parkas that are technically warmer than the Nuuk, but the Nuuk has way better waterproofing and it's plenty warm.

Fjallraven Winter Coats
Same thing. I have a Nuuk, its lovely, just a learning curve each winter to get used to the zipper again.

Fjallraven Winter Coats
I have the Nuuk. Overall I love the jacket--it is extremely warm. I get cold very easily despite living in the mid-atlantic USA where it doesn't get quite as cold as places north of here. It also has tons of pockets so I don't need to carry a purse in the winter. The downsides are that it is bulkier, but it isn't terribly heavy. And yes, the zipper. Like another poster mentioned, it hasn't ever failed but it is wonky because it zips both ways. It just takes an extra 30 seconds to zip it up, and that's about it. These two issues aren't enough for me to trade it out for something else. At this price point it's the best value we found.

what winter coat are yall using?
Fjallraven Nuuk Parka. It's been my go to for a couple years now and with a good mid layer has kept me warm in below zero temperatures. It has a faux fur trim on the hood but it's removable.

what winter coat are yall using?
Two years ago I got a Fjallraven Nuuk Parka at Sierra on a whim, and it's been fantastic. I don't know about BIFL but I'm very happy
