Classic C1 Canister Vacuum
Free 2-day returns
As innovators in floorcare since 1927, Miele vacuum cleaners are built for long-lasting performance. The Classic C1 Cat & Dog vacuum was designed with pet owners in mind. A Miele-made 1200W Vortex Motor delivers powerful suction and world-class cleaning. It includes a large electrobrush floorhead with five-level height adjustment for medium- to high-pile carpet, and a gentle parquet twister brush for smooth floors. A handheld mini turbobrush removes pet hair from stairs, upholstery, and car seats. The Active AirClean Filter uses charcoal and advanced filtration to eliminate pet odors and capture airborne dust. Features include six-setting suction control, a 29.5-foot operating radius, and an adjustable telescopic wand for broader reach with fewer outlet changes. The hygienic vacuum bag allows for easy disposal, and three accessories - dusting brush, crevice tool, and upholstery tool are included.

What have you used the most at home these two years?
I love my Miele Animal! Over a decade old and with annual servicing still runs great!

These are the 25 most recommended vacuum cleaners on Reddit (based on 1,821 users, in the past year) wdyt?
I agree with this list. I have a V15 detect and it is what I use 95% of the time. It is just so convenient to grab it off the charger and be cleaning up a mess 1 second later. However, I bought it expecting it to last 10 years, probably with a battery replacement along the way. If I were to own only 1 vacuum, the Miele cat&dog is what I would have bought based on reviews. Call me lazy, but I bet my house would be less clean if that was my only vacuum. Dragging it out, dealing with the hose and cord, getting an extension cord or moving the car if I want to use it outside are all small but annoying barriers to quick cleans. I can take my Dyson off the charger, suck up a little spill, even step outside and empty it into the trash by the time I'd have a corded vacuum ready to go. If you live in a small house or apartment, the battery Dysons can be your only vacuum, but I think for larger homes you still want a corded machine. For what it is worth, my other vacuum is a DC24 from 2004ish, and while I didn't expect it to last all that long either, it still works good as new. I replaced the hose once about 10 years ago after I tore it. I like how modular it is so it can be taken all apart and cleaned and parts can be replaced like Legos.

Ask r/vacuumcleaners And imo both are excellent. But we can’t answer this for you. You should visit a dealer and test drive both. One is a canister style and one is an upright. It’s very much personal preference. Personally I’d also add a Sebo k3 to your shopping list.

My dad has had (to great success) the same Miele Cat & Dog Canister Vacuum for the last 14 years.

Best vacuum for pet hair?
Agreed. But any Miele that does carpet is out of OP’s budget. The cheapest carpet machine is the C1 cat and dog which is $750+

Which Miele hoover is best for pets?
That's weird, I have the C1 cat and dog and the turbo brush is THE BEST. I have cats and low/medium pile rugs
